COVID 19 has affected many organizations operationally. We want to tangibly serve our community and one opportunity to do this is through making and giving masks. Our goal is to make and give 100 masks. We will be looking for places to give the masks to around our valley. The first 20 will go to Elm View to complete the coverage of each employee and client.

Our goal won't happen without people coming together (individually) to sew. If you have some sewing skill & have a sewing machine, we would love your help on this project. Thank you Laura Wilson for acting as our project manager and is in the process of gathering supplies and coordinating physical resources & Katelyn Switzer assisting in resource distribution and communication.

Kits we will have include pattern, fabric, interfacing, elastic and nose bridge. If you only need a few of these things but have your own materials you want to use, please let us know. We are waiting on interfacing and elastic in the mail.

Here is more information by the cdc about face masks. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html?fbclid=IwAR0XAxq1kI9I7YMe5Ol0oV7eGZmc-kfNYQWJOnR2SZJGIjYtQug2ub0n3cw
